I am just going to start off and go for the gusto on this blog. I will be running For Place #5 For KISD Board of Trustees. Place #5 is incumbent, Nick Prado’s place. I will elaborate on all this later and put out a formal statement soon.

I have been called all types of names by certain (I’m sure you can figure out who) KISD Board Members such as ‘kooky’ and ‘idiot’ and such. I guess that is better than being called “special ed” and “Pendejos” and other horrible derogatory names some board members call community members and/or parents. Those board members are nasty. I feel sick thinking about some of the things I have been told that they say around town and in closed board meetings. Disgusting! These people are representing special education kids. No wonder KISD’s 2018 Special Education Departmental Review was as bad and appalling as it was. They make fun of that population of students and people.

I may be an idiot, but it didn’t take me long to figure out that having Bera’s name on the agenda was a FUBAR. I saw that coming a mile away. She didn’t do everything in the way they wanted her to. She wasn’t being pulled by strings. She was harassed and micromanaged. They also tried to throw her under the bus for the pettiest of things…ripped jeans.

I may just call Dr. Phil because some of those board members need some serious help. Whatever they did to Bera was worth $88,500. They paid $88,500 for her not to talk to anyone about the coercion that was done by Prado and the harassment by other board members. She is still an employee at KISD. Yup. Still employed. Just think of what could be spent with her salary. Maybe they can put the $88,500 to a fund to fix HM King parking lot. Maybe they could have hired an extra 5 aids to help out teachers in the district. They could have hired crossing guards at every campus both morning and afternoon. They could have hired about two police officers at HM King and/or Memorial Middle School. They could have hired a firm to come in and try to find a way to help the special education students improve their grades and deter dropping kids with behavioral problems in contained classrooms. Maybe they could have put that money towards intercom system. When teachers fart at schools the internet goes out. Maybe they can put money towards making sure KISD has the best internet and technology network. *Blog coming later about Special Education, it is eye opening!*

I can easily list a hundred places to have put $88,500 towards. Instead it was used to silence Bera. What happened to where certain board members thought they had to do this? If she wanted to quit….BYE! ADIOS! AU REVIOR! ARRIVEDERCI! Bera must have had something juicy on some board members no one knows about. Will she say when her gag order is up or will she save face? Cory Jr., Prado, Corando Sr. and Coufal voted for this. I am going to guess Coufal didn’t want to but did it in the best interest of Bera. Don’t quote me on that. Now they want to spend another $40,000 or more to find a replacement!!! Having two superintendents is expensive. Shall I list what can or could be done with another $40,000?! I mean, I can get on a roll if you let me. KISD is also letting Bera keep her other benefits.

If a teacher or administrator has any juicy information on these board members, all you have to do now is file a grievance and ask for administrative leave with pay and benefits as a resolution to your grievance. Wouldn’t it be nice to sit home or go on vacation and not have to work? Must be nice to get paid to do nothing. Ya’ll should be jealous!!!!!

The new City Manager, Mark Mclaughlin, was paid $3,000 to move from Flatonia, east of San Antonio to Kingsville by the city. Bera got $6,000 to move to San Antonio from Kingsville. *rubs chin* Ya’ll marinate on that information.

Don’t get mad at me. None of this is my fault. I am the one uncovering this insanity and sharing it with the community. Ya’ll need to know. It is your tax dollars going to her salary while she doesn’t work. I am not even mad at Bera about this. I am mad she left. I was hoping she would fight harder and longer. Some of the board of trustees’ bitch and moan about money and how much stuff costs, but some of those trustees are quick to throw your hard-earned money out into the wind. Any teachers need anything out there in the district? Now is the time for you to go to KISD board meetings and ask in public participation for them to put on the agenda to buy you what you need for yourself and our children! I will die if they say, “We don’t have the funds for that.”

I requested this information on October 1st, 2019. I finally received it on Jan 14th. They played games with me for over 3 months trying not to let me know. I am sure board members will have their reasons and will want to tell the community about this. Get this, they cannot. THEY CANNOT TELL YOU ANYTHING. THEY ARE ALSO GAGGED. So, if you hear them going around town trying to justify that expensive decision, you let me know, because they legally cannot say a word. This gives Bera the opportunity to sue them for breach of contract. They and some of the community seriously underestimated me. I don’t play games. I am a straight shooter. Take it or leave it. They played games with me and with you. They could go out committing felonies every day and some people will still vote for these people. SMDH.

To certain board members: You like it yall? Is this fun for you?

“Hey I’m trying, I’m trying real hard to be the Shepherd!” I really want to be nice and stay in my lane, but I cannot make this not known. If I have to be that guy, then I will be that guy. My conscience is okay with the lord.
