I’m going to go hard on this blog. I am so fed up with the bullshit, baby doo-doo with a couple certain board members. Ever heard of term limits? Corando needs one. Gimme an N! Gimme an E! Gimme a P! Gimme an O! Gimme a T! Gimme an I! Gimme an S! Gimme an M! What does that spell?! (I need to know bc I am not very good at spelling, apparently, like that really matters)

Ever really taken the time to look at the agendas? I found something interesting today that I have been thinking about for a while now. There have been 7 “Discussions regarding superintendent roles, responsibilities, duties, and contract” on the agendas since February 11th, 2019. I did some digging. In the year 2017, when Carol Perez was superintendent, there were a total of 5 in the entire year. In 2018, there were only 2 for her before she left. Carol had the same amount of “discussions” in over a year and a half as Bera has had in 7 months. Oh, the things that make you go hmmmm. I guess she is the new kid getting picked on. Who knows. What I also noticed is there is usually another item for closed agenda either above or below her “evaluation” that states, “Consultation with legal counsel regarding pending or contemplated litigation and personnel matters” or “litigation and other legal matters.” This was never on the same closed meetings when Carol was superintendent. Take that as you want. I just wanted to point out what I see and feel.

Onto other pressing matters! Dress code! How petty! Certain board members roll into board meetings like they got off the 9th hole of a golf course with sandals on. How about we leave well and good alone? I have pleaded from the board members to please provide safer schools during pick-up and drop-off and none of them went running to Bera telling her to do this or that about it. I am sad to think that a parental or teacher concern over dress code and what Bera wears takes precedence over safety of our children! Oh, how that pissed me off!

Onto other pressing matters! I never give my sources. Never. Not one of my sources has come back to me complaining that I said something with their name associated to it. Because I am nice like that. I keep my promises. I tell the truth. I cannot help that I don’t kiss and tell. That has some board members fuming! Some board members apparently don’t know things I know. That irritates them. In the last 3 or 4 weeks there has been a lot of hinting and dropping from their friends that I know too much. I honestly don’t. Most of what people say is heresay. I don’t post on heresay! I am starting to get irritated by that. I have been accused of doing so and that makes me want to be just as petty and write an entire 500-page blog about all the heresay I hear around town! Wouldn’t that be nice? It would make a couple of board members shit bricks. Heavy, gigantic bricks. But, if I did that they would probably run to the police, AGAIN, and cry about what they can do to me to get me to stop saying what is on my mind. First amendment is awesome! I know of some bloggers that used to get sued all of the time in Brownsville and the majority of them were dropped because there is no basis to the libel/slander suits. I cannot tell people to jump off a bridge. One woman recently got major prison time for that. But I can write about what I know is the truth!

I have recently been called a liar publicly by Corando. He was at the Gillett teacher orientation and decided it would be a good thing to tell as many teachers as possible that I am a liar and not to listen to me. I am sorry; did you not tell me to find you in the phone book? I am also sorry; did you not tell me have I ever thought of being a crossing guard and getting a group to do so? (With a smile on your face full of sarcasm?) I remember what was said. Here it is Corando, I am not a liar. I am many things both good and bad, but a liar is not one of them. Go ahead and dig up whatever you want on me. I don’t care. Ain’t no shame in my game! Find something negative? I will own that shit!

There is a big, thick, black line between an elected official and constituent of the community, one that happens to be a parent of KISD. I don’t have to uphold myself to a certain level, you do! Elected officials should be held to a certain standard of ethical and professional conduct. You did not exemplify that at Gillette by attacking a KISD parent whom you represent. I would hate to hear how you treat and talk to other parents you disagree with (or ones that speak up!!!). I also wonder how many people you go tell in the community about said parent after you have a disagreement with them.

Onto other pressing matters. Cory. I kinda like the dude. I ain’t gonna lie. But I wonder if it is him I like or his girlfriend. Who is really speaking at board meetings? Who is really speaking online? Him or his girlfriend? Cory and I conversed on Facebook. It was a lovely conversation. He mentioned meeting me at a restaurant in Brownsville that doesn’t even exist. I asked him to meet me at El Tapatio, but he backed out. Surprise, surprise. I think it is immature that he has to speak through another person. Whether that be a family friend or a girlfriend. Hey! My email is kookykingsville@yahoo.com and my phone number is (828)200-3108. Call me dude! Let’s have coffee! I say things about KISD, but I slap my name all over it! I also know that he has gone around the community calling me an “idiot.” I got names for you too bro! You don’t see me slandering your name in that manner. I may be an ‘idiot’, but I don’t think elected officials should conduct themselves in unethical and unprofessional way like using a friend’s Facebook page and trying to spread false rumors.

See how transparent I was? I put my damn phone number on my blog. I don’t have anything to hide. I am obtainable. I won’t throw someone under the bus or retaliate. That is unless you start calling me things and accusing me of something I am not. If you want to say some true things about me, please do! Again, I will happily own that shit too! But I refuse to be labeled as something I am not. Not going to happen! I don’t and won’t hide behind my computer. Tell me you two....What have I lied about? Please, let me know, and bring the facts with you. I will redact, retract, edit, and correct myself whenever you do! I do not mind and can eloquently be humbled. You guys on the other hand can’t it seems.

People are saying there are leaks in the administration building. Yep, there probably is. But no one coming from that building told me a damn thing! I’ve had people come up to me telling things about me that they shouldn’t even know. I have also had people come to me thinking they know things about me they don’t. I’ve had people tell me to do Open Records Requests on this and that. I have a list so long I don’t know where to start on it! I will start to get them done now that I will soon have more time in the next few weeks. They are coming! If Corando, Cory and Prado want to know who the leak is, tell them to look around, everywhere. Tell them to check in their underwear drawer too! There are eyes all over the place, and I won't tell. Your secret is safe with me!

I am worried that the board will try and fire Bera. I haven’t heard or seen anything that she has done as a fireable offense. You are going to piss off a lot of people if you do that. Bera is not perfect, but she has done an unfathomable number of positive things for KISD. Not to say other people on the board or people she works with haven’t helped her in the right direction, but she sure put in the hard work! I don’t want to hear the murmuring around town that this is something that is being plotted. So, lets go onto other pressing matters, like when tee-time is. You will start to see them out and about a lot more soon as 2 of their seats are up! Who wants them?!?!?!?!
