“Who is Driving Garza Jr?”
Before I bore you on the happenings of Tuesday’s board meeting let me update you on a few things I have been doing.
Yes, I have filed a complaint with Kingsville Police Department regarding Prado. I stated my complaint under Penal Code, Title 8, Offenses Against Public Administration, Chapter 9., Abuse of Office, Section. 39.02, Abuse of Official Capacity and Sec. 39.03, Official Oppression. KPD did the proper and ethical thing and turned this over to TX Rangers as he is a public official and has a law enforcement background. I also filed this complaint with TEA on the same date. I am still waiting to hear back from them. I will try and touch base with the office on Monday, giving them ample time to provide me some type of answer on where that complaint has gone. I have also filed the same complaint through the grievance process at KISD, which I have heard from others is a joke. I received word from KISD school attorney and representative, Maddox. My level 3 grievance hearing will be heard “before the Board of Trustees at a properly posted board meeting.” In the morning I will provide the Interim Superintendent, Ms. Adams, a request for this to be heard during open session instead of behind closed doors in closed session. You know, because I LOVE TRANSPARENCY!
KPD Incident Report #1900006070 if anyone wants some extra reading material.
This is not the only thing I am going to ensure that gets its proper due process. Garza Jr. is tinkering on the brink of me reporting him. His dad got lucky that I didn’t formally file a complaint when he went around berating others about me in front of teachers and staff. Prado is also lucky a few parents have not filed a complaint against him on the treatment of parents.
I am also waiting on Open Records Request concerning communication during open session between Cory, and whomever it is that he communicates with during board meetings through his personal phone, email, text, whatever. I have not heard anything back from KISD. ORR law states that they have “(a) An officer for public information of a gov’t body shall promptly produce public information for inspection, duplication, or both on application by any person to the officer. In this subsection, “promptly” means as soon as possible under the circumstances, that is, within a reasonable time, without delay.” Most people would say 10 working days would suffice as prompt. If information cannot be produced within 10 days, the entity should contact person and explain reason. I filled that ORR for that info on 9/6/2019. Crickets.
Aaaaand more open records requests. I put in a request for any monetary pay given to prior superintendent, Elida Bera, during her resignation. Let me say a few things for those that have disagreed. Yes, she resigned*. This usually means she would walk away with nothing. The night she resigned Garza Jr., Prado, Garza Sr. and Coufal agreed to her resignation and RESOLUTION. Meaning there was more than just her saying peace out you crazies! I am sure they put a gag in the resolution and paid her to shut up and go home. I am sure she could write a 400-page book on the shit show she had to endure. I received an update to this in the mail. KISD will not let me know what the value was in the resolution. Also, someone else put in a request for the same thing! Good to see people getting involved in civics and wanting to know how much tax payer money went to her leaving. We have the right to know where our money goes and who gets paid what. Here are the copies. I guess I will have to wait for TX Attorney General to look this over. If she wasn’t paid anything, I know damn well they would have stated something along the lines of, “no monetary compensation was given.” By KISD attorney sending this, it confirms she got paid. How much? We may never know! That is the way Garza Jr., Garza Sr., Prado, and Coufal like it.

In the Kingsville Record, Hal Dantone wrote in Letter to the Editor, “and I don’t understand what happened.” If you know Hal, invite him to this page and/or blog. I would hate for a citizen to be uninformed. Dear Hal, she left because of some current board members. See some of what she had to put up with below.
Onto the good stuff. I just wanted to inform you that I do much more than just go to meetings, which are mainly bullshit shows. Usually any member will have an idea how they want to vote and rarely change their minds. I particularly love it that way. If anyone has any concerns on the topic or feels that they can change another board member’s mind, sure, talk about it in open session, quickly. Some KISD board members drag it out for hours on end. The poor principals are in the audience and I feel so bad for them. I can see a few in the back. They look like they are Alex from “Clockwork Orange,” like they need those eye opener thingies to keep them awake during meetings. They got better things to do than to have to be there.
Everyone open up a new tab on their phone or laptop. Pull up the live feed on Kooky Kingsville of Tuesday’s board meeting. October 15th. I put it in the announcement section. Start at 45:50 in the video. Garza Jr askes interim superientendent, Ms. Adams, about an expenditure that is not explained well on their agenda packet, THAT THEY HAVE HAD FOR 72 HOURS. At 47:13 Garza Jr. states, “We got to be better prepared.” Ms. Adams responds respectfully. You can see Yaklin turn her head to Ms. Adams and she smiles. Sorta like, hey, we understand, no big deal, it is alright. He responds, “It is not an excuse.” In this moment I looked straight at Adams like, NO! STOP! DON’T! You could tell she sooooo wanted to clap back at his smart ass remarks, but she maturely stayed silent. Yaklin took control and had her back. Yes! This is the Yaklin I want to see! I knew she was in there somewhere! Garza Jr. is always wanting to put on a show and it turns board meetings into a circus. It seemed like she was trying to put that in check.
Lots of thoughts go through my head during these meetings and sometimes I accidently speak out loud. It happens. I said, “What a dick” when Garza Jr. tried smart mouthing Yaklin. I was so tired of watching him treat our previous superintendent in this way and now he is doing the same thing to Adams. He is glad I am not the super because I would have clapped back. No one should be treated in that manner. Last time a boss tried to talk to me that way I walked off the job. The hell with that. It is belittling, berating, bullying and overall shitty. I don’t need that negativity in my life. I am also a person who states, “if you can dish it, be prepared to take it.”
When I said what a dick, I wasn’t talking about a penis. I was talking about Merrian-Webster definition of a MEAN man. He was mean. I just happen to use colorful language. We all know he was being mean. If I said, “he is mean” it doesn’t have enough impact and the delivery is weak.
Now, if you take a gander he starts to get really agitated. He starts moving around a lot and poking his tongue around inside of his mouth. I look a quick course in body language class for massage and I learned a bunch. Lol. My live feed probably has some lag. If you fast-forward a smidge to 52:42 Garza Jr. gets a message from someone that is watching my live feed. Remember how I keep telling people he is always on his phone during open session? He hides his phone better now. I am still not stupid and know he still uses it. And after this point in the video, it is OBVIOUS. He gets a message and gets really happy. At 53:30 he smiles at my phone and pushes his eyebrows up then down. At the 54:00 mark he puts on his glasses to read something else. He immediately looks over to KIDS’s lawyer and waves him to meet him in the hallway. He gets up at 54:33 and Maddox gets up right after to meet him outside the board room. The board of trustees were looking over an MOU and Yaklin calls out if their lawyer looked at it. Well Maddox was outside with Garza Jr. Even his dad, Garza Sr. calls out the fact that Maddox is nowhere around to answer any questions for this legal KISD matter. They are all like, WTF? Lol Even Greenwood got up at 55:42 to go get their lawyer back. They are outside for a total of 1 minute. Who knows what was said. I will just make some shit up. He went outside to talk to Maddox about me saying on video, “What a dick.” That is right! Yours truly is so freaking important to him that he goes and has private meetings with the lawyer in open session in a hallway. Daaaaaaang. LOL. THEY HATE ME! Lol. I cannot stop laughing at this. Hilarious! ME!!! Little ol’ me! I really didn’t think I was that important. Lol.
When Garza Jr. comes back in and at 56:56 he starts smiling and looking around with glee like an excited school girl. He stares a lot at my phone during these meetings. It is like he is eye balling whomever it is he converses with in private during open session. Having a meeting in secret with the lawyer during open session is not illegal, but some would say it is unethical. And we all know some members aren’t the most ethical. Here is the kicker. Maddox tried to pull me aside and talk to me after the meeting, verbally of course. Normally I don’t talk to people like that without recording it but I figured if it were serious, he would tell me what he wants in a letter or email, otherwise it is heresy. You know me and transparency, so here it is. He informed me that I was disrupting the board meeting by calling board members derogatory names. I was unaware I said anything out loud. I try to type it in the message section. Ya got me! But at first I didn’t know what he was talking about. I though he was referring to my blogs or something. I told him that I can say what I want. He stated, not during a board meeting. Then it clicked. I then asked how I impeeded the board meeting from doing their job by saying anything on MY phone? He couldn’t answer that question. He just repeated for me not to do it again. I seriously rolled my eyes. Like, why are you giving me a heads up? And why wasn’t the heads up given during the meeting when you found out I called him a dick? That would have been the appropriate place to call me out. Ya know, transparency!? I told him I would talk to my lawyer. Which I did. He told me not to worry about it and laughed. The night prior I couldn’t stop laughing at the fact that they are trying to scare me off or something.
I don’t know why he was so happy. Is this going to get me thrown out of the board meetings? Does he know how many people would be very upset over this? A little retaliation, no? Who is laughing now? Lol. Touche!
There is so much more that I could write, but I will leave this here. What I just wrote makes me think, who is behind all the phone messages that are sent to Cory? Who is his messenger, DURING A BOARD MEETING? Why is he not paying FULL attention to the meeting? Is this a joke to him? He leaves and goes to the ‘bathroom’ a lot or goes to the back of the board behind closed doors for a minute or two then comes back. Who is he calling during these times? Who is relaying to him what to say and do? Why is he so mean to the previous and current superintendent? What is he trying to do? Why would anyone vote for these people? I’d love to be on the board and sit my butt right next to his. I’d call him out on it and I would make it obvious.
Who is the back seat driver for Garza Jr.?
